Hello and welcome to Noland Outdoors!
My name is Jason Noland, founder of this site. I am an avid bowhunter from West central Alabama and lover of nature and the outdoors. I want to thank you for visiting my site. We are a relatively new online production and we are still evolving and growing.
If you're like me, then you eat, breathe, and sleep with whitetails on your brain. It eats me up. I'm sure other aspects of my life have suffered because of my affliction / obsession, but I'm managing somehow. Is this you?
So, what exactly are we doing with Noland Outdoors? Well, that's where the growing and evolving part come in. Right now, we're just posting pics and old videos and blogging, etc.. What I want to do, however, is really get into the video aspect of hunting. I want to put together a lot of footage, both gun and rifle, and post it here. I also want a story to go along with each hunt. I want members to post their pics, stories, and videos on this site and keep a running journal of their season. To put it simply, I want it to be a place of interest for all of us hardcore deer hunters. I mean, what isn't cool about having a site created by hunters for hunters??
How did this come about? Well, quite simply I got bored on a hot summer afternoon not long ago and decided it would be fun to create a website devoted to hunting. And voila! here it is! Myself and a couple of my lifelong hunting buddies are the pioneering Pro Staff members, if you will (although we are not vain enough to actually believe we are "Pros" at this, but "Pro Staff" sounds pretty cool anyway). But we have each spent over 3 decades in pursuit of West Alabama whitetails and we hope we have at least that long remaining to do the same. We aren't in this for fame or money. We're just here to have fun and see where the path takes us.
So, sign up and join in. It's free! Take time to fill out the questionaire on this site as well and tell me a little bit about yourself. For questions or comments, I can be reached via email at jason@nolandoutdoors.com.
Sincerely,
Jason Noland
